Port of Korsoer policy for processing personal data in connection with TV surveillance and video recording. 

As part of Port of Korsoer control and monitoring of the port areas, TV surveillance and video recording of the port’s areas on land, as well as port basins and entry, are carried out.

What personal data do we process – and why?
In connection with the port’s video surveillance, it will be possible to record people’s behavior and movements. Recordings are reviewed in the event of accidents and in the event of specific suspicions of illegal or unfair behaviour. The video surveillance is necessary to meet the ISPS requirements for port security, issued by the IMO International Maritime Organization.

Processing authorization
The basis for the above processing is found in the Personal Data Regulation art. 6 pieces. 1, letter c d or e.


Disclosure of information

Personal data about you will not be passed on, unless there is a factual reason and a valid processing authority. In connection with the investigation of a crime, the police can request access to video surveillance material.


Data processor

All the data we process about you is stored internally in our administration, your data is thus stored on servers owned by Port of Korsoer. The servers are physically located at Port of Korsoer. The external supplier of service on our server therefore only processes data according to our instructions. The external supplier ensures that our data is stored safely and securely.

The retention period

All recordings are stored for up to 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted, unless there is a factual basis for storing them longer.

 

Access to, deletion or correction of your information
You have the right to obtain information about and object to the processing of your personal data. If you believe that we are processing information that is incorrect or misleading, or that our processing is in breach of the applicable personal data legislation, including the Personal Data Regulation, you can request us to have this information corrected, deleted or blocked. We will respond to such a request as soon as possible.
